oslo city hall

As all of you know, on the 10 of December of each year, the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony takes place in Oslo. Last year Malala Yousafsai was the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.

The ceremony takes place at Oslo City Hall , one of the most famous buildings in Oslo, which was constructed in 1931. When you look at the building from the outside, all covered with hand-beaten bricks, it’s difficult to imagine all the art that covers most of the walls inside the building. Yet, to be honest, this was what impressed me the most! It's definitely a place to go back to admire the art!

You can watch Malala's Nobel Peace Prize speech here , and it's definitely worth your time, while you get a glance of the main room: Present moments in a historic building!

Hope you enjoy it and Happy New Year!
