THE SCREAM / EDVARD MUNCH / RED SKY

The scream / Edvard Munch / Red Sky

The days are getting longer and the sun is appearing more and more, which leads to beautiful sunsets.
I can't resist taking a photo every time the sky turns pink, even from the exact same location with the exact same perspective. But the sky always looks different and I'm always amazed by the power that transmits.
Apparently for Edvard Munch the red sky one day in Oslo inspired him to paint "The Scream":
"One evening I was walking along a path, the city was on one side and the fjord below. I felt tired and ill. I stopped and looked out over the fjord—the sun was setting, and the clouds turning blood red. I sensed a scream passing through nature; it seemed to me that I heard the scream. I painted this picture, painted the clouds as actual blood. The colour shrieked".
This became The Scream.(wikipedia)
Though in my case red/pink sky is more about joy, calm and happiness!
What about you? What kind of effect, if any, does this kind of sunset have on you?
Have a look at my pictures, and think about it!
Best,
Sonia
P.S. Have you seen this video from Sebastian Cosor, where he brings "The Scream" to life?
It’s really amazing!
